Frequently asked questions
Are my files saved on a server?
No. Originals and conversions are processed in browser memory, without file uploads. Resetting or closing the page releases file references. Downloads remain on your device. Analytics runs only with consent; no advertising scripts are currently active.
Can I convert large files?
Limits depend on your browser and available memory. Each batch supports up to 100 PDF pages, 100 images, and 100 MB per file. Split large documents or lower the resolution. Very large pages may be processed at reduced resolution.
Are password-protected PDFs supported?
Yes. Enter the opening password to convert a protected PDF. The password stays inside your browser. Damaged and some specialized PDFs may not work.
Will text remain searchable after converting to images?
No. Converting a PDF page to JPG or PNG turns text into pixels. Images-to-PDF does not include OCR. JPG uses lossy compression, and PNG quality depends on the selected resolution.
