Step-by-step
- 01
Import your photo and check the frame
Choose your picture in the editor’s Image menu. Show all keeps the whole image visible; Fill canvas can crop its edges. Check faces and other important details before placing text.
- 02
Add a title or subtitle
In Text, choose Add title or Add subtitle. Use Selected text to change the words. You can also double-click text on the canvas or use Draw text box to place a text area.
- 03
Set text size, color and position
Choose a font, size and color, then drag the text into place. White letters can disappear on a bright background: compare a darker color or a background box. Check outline and shadow settings and keep a margin from the image edge.
- 04
Export and reopen the image
Use Format & size export to choose JPG, PNG or WebP and output dimensions. Open the download to check spelling, clipping, characters and readability at a small display size. The exported image flattens text into the picture, so retain an editable recent project if you may need changes.
Things to know
- Separate a short title from a supporting caption to avoid covering too much of the photo. For example, use Weekend walk as the title and November park notes as the subtitle.
- The editor uses default fonts installed on your device. Opening an editable project on another device can change the typeface or line breaks.
- Recent-project autosave belongs to the current browser. It does not synchronize between devices or provide a server backup; download important results.
Frequently asked questions
Can I enter Korean or other non-Latin text?
Yes. Character rendering depends on the fonts available on your device, so check the exported image.
Can I edit only the text in an exported JPG?
A JPG, PNG or WebP export is a flattened image. To change the text, restore an available recent project or begin again from the original photo.
How do I apply the same caption to several photos?
Use Watermark Images from the home page for repeated text or a logo across multiple photos. This editor is intended for detailed placement on a single canvas.
