Step-by-step
- 01
Open the editor and import an image
Launch the HanCutTool image editor and load the photo or logo with the background you want to remove.
- 02
Find Remove solid-color background
Locate the solid-color background removal controls. For a white background, start with the default white color swatch.
- 03
Adjust color tolerance carefully
Start with a lower tolerance and increase it only as needed. Inspect the preview to make sure white details in your subject are not removed.
- 04
Apply and export as transparent PNG
Choose Make background transparent, review the result, then export PNG or WebP to preserve transparency. JPG does not preserve transparent pixels.
Things to know
- This is a color-based remover, not an AI subject segmentation tool.
- Complex backgrounds, shadows, hair and objects that match the background color may not produce clean edges.
- If too much of the subject disappears, lower the tolerance or choose a more accurate background color.
