Step-by-step
- 01
Choose a PDF file
Open the “PDF to Images” section of the HanCutTool PDF converter, then select a file or drag it into the drop area.
- 02
Select JPG or PNG
JPG is generally practical for photographic pages. PNG may better suit diagrams and text-heavy pages when you want to avoid lossy JPEG compression.
- 03
Set DPI and page range
The default setting is 150 DPI. You can choose 200 or 300 DPI for finer rendering at the expense of processing time and file size. Enter a range such as “1, 3-5” to export selected pages only.
- 04
Convert and download
Start conversion, inspect the previews and download individual images or a ZIP archive containing multiple results.
Things to know
- Text inside the exported image is no longer selectable or searchable as it was in the original PDF.
- Password-protected PDFs may require the opening password; damaged or unusual documents may not convert.
- The tool limits a conversion to 100 pages and a 100 MB PDF. Split very large jobs into smaller page ranges.
