Scope and file processing

This policy applies to HanCutTool's image editor, PDF/image converter, QR code generator, audio tools, GIF converter, and file organizer. Each tool processes selected files and input locally in your browser. Originals, edits, and output files are not uploaded to the operator's servers for conversion.

For access controls and information processed by the hosting provider when delivering the site, see the third-party services section and the provider's policies.

Browser data and retention

Information stored locally by the editor

Export settingsFilename, format, quality, export size, and last save time. Used to restore settings with the project.Stored together with the recent project.

This information is kept in local browser storage. The operator cannot view it through a server account list or file library. On a shared device, another user may be able to open stored projects; delete saved work when finished.

Handling and deletion of support emails

Support requests are sent directly from your own email service to the operator. Clicking the contact button alone does not transmit an image or message.

Support email handling
CategoryDetails
Data processedSender email address/display name, message, sending time, and any attachments. Device/browser information may be included if you provide it for troubleshooting.
PurposeHandling questions, investigating problems, replying, and processing privacy requests. We do not use support messages for advertising or promotions.
Retention criteriaWe aim to delete inquiries promptly once they are resolved and the retention purpose has been fulfilled. If the law requires retention, relevant data will be retained only for the required period and purpose, then deleted.
Deletion methodThe operator deletes received messages, sent replies, attachments, and downloaded copies, including mailbox trash. Provider backups and logs are handled under the email provider's policy.
Email serviceSupport emails are received and answered using NAVER Mail. Your sending email provider also participates in delivery.

The operator deletes support emails manually; HanCutTool has no mailbox access or automatic email deletion feature. Clearing browser projects does not delete emails already sent.

All editing and downloading works without contacting us. A reply may be difficult without a reachable email address and useful description. Do not send national ID numbers, passwords, verification codes, or unnecessary personal data.

Send requests for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing to aventyr0717@naver.com. We verify only the minimum information needed to handle the request and inform you of the outcome or reasons for any restriction. A legal representative or authorized agent may also make a request.

Deleting stored content and exercising rights

  1. In the editor, open Save status and select Delete saved projectto remove the most recent project from this browser and temporarily pause autosave.
  2. You can also delete site data in your browser settings. Close any open editing pages first.
  3. Delete downloaded files separately using your device's file manager.

Deleted projects cannot be recovered from a server backup. View or change images/text in the editor; use the contact page for data handling questions.

Hosting, third-party resources, and access data

This website is hosted by OpenAI Sites. Hosting, security, and access checks may involve IP addresses, access times, browser details, and device information. Sites provides visitor analytics, and the operator can view aggregate visitor and page-view data to the extent offered.

OpenAI's Sites Terms and Data Processing Addendum govern hosting, maintenance, and support for personal data collected through published sites. OpenAI's separate Privacy Policy governs data associated with OpenAI accounts.

The home page and editor load icons from UNPKG; some tools load fonts from Google Fonts. Requests for these resources may expose IP addresses and browser details to providers. This informational page does not load the icon script.

Access-data processing is separate from local file editing. HanCutTool does not upload images, documents, audio, video, or input content to hosting/CDN providers for conversion.

Specific access-log retention periods and cross-border processing conditions are determined by the hosting provider, not the site operator. Official terms and subprocessors are linked below without asserting unverified retention periods or locations.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

HanCutTool uses Google Analytics 4 to privately aggregate visitor and page-view counts for the operator. Google scripts load only after a visitor consents to analytics; page visits, access times, browser/device information, and analytics cookies may then be sent to Google. Original images, PDFs, audio files, and converted results are never sent to Google Analytics. No advertising scripts are currently active. Hosting access logs and analytics provided by Sites are separate.

Analytics consent is optional; declining does not limit any tool. Your choice is stored in the current browser. You can change it anytime with the Change analytics consent button, and withdrawal stops future analytics transmissions. Previously aggregated data is not immediately erased. For Google's practices, see the Google Privacy Policy. Hosting security/login cookies and local browser autosave operate independently.

Disclosure, processing, and safe use

HanCutTool does not collect locally saved project files to sell or disclose them to third parties. Hosting and CDN processing is described above.

We do not provide encrypted file vaults, account-specific server backups, or collaborative editing. Avoid editing sensitive images on shared devices, and inspect downloaded content and original metadata before use.
